New Year, New Baby: Making Cute Cards
When a baby is born into the family it is a fantastic time to celebrate the new arrival!
After long nine-months of anticipation, it is great to see your new baby boy/girl, or little sibling and welcome them into the world with lots of love.
Hopefully, the nursery will already be all done up and you will have all the clothes and furniture that you need; such as a pram, cot and changing mat.
Why not celebrate the amazing new-born by making a really cute card for your new nephew, or grandchild?
Although they are not old enough to understand the importance of a personalised home-made greeting card, the thought will be there and the parents will appreciate the effort that you put in.
So put on one of our PVC Aprons and make one of these delightful, sweet cards to give to that special baby.
There are tons of ideas that you can try whether it is a girl or a boy; be as imaginative and creative as you can be.
Teddy Bear

This card is perfect for the little angel and can be adapted easily, with a blue ribbon for a boy, and a pink one for a girl.
You can use anything to decorate it from sequins and glitter, to beads and coloured pens.
Baby Pram

This is a super cute way to congratulate the baby’s arrival!
It only takes about 20 minutes to make it and all you need is coloured card; with buttons, stickers and thread.
Why not outline it with a pretty silver frame? You can pick up a silver highlighter from any stationery store.
New Arrival

Personalising your card by actually putting a picture on the front of the new baby is a perfect way to welcome it into the world with its very own card!
Use coloured tissue and crate paper to make it soft to touch and decorate till your heart’s content.
Further designs include balloons, a little shoe, or what about tiny little prints to represent their new hands and feet?
